Disabled American Veterans Official Contest Rules
Contest Sponsor: Rio Grande Credit Union, Albuquerque, NM.
Eligible Participants: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Contest Description: Disabled American Veterans Raffle begins at 9:00 am MST on October 10th, 2021 and ends at 5:00 pm MST on November 4th, 202. A donation of $2 or more will need to be made in exchange for a raffle ticket(s). A donation of at least one pair of new socks can also be made. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries.
NO PURCHASE, TRANSACTION OR BRANCH VISIT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Contestants 18 years of age or older may enter prize drawing by completing one 3” x 5” card with name, address, phone number and valid email address. Completed entry card must be submitted to any branch or mailed to: Rio Grande Credit Union, Attn: Marketing/Disabled American Veterans Raffle, 301 Rio Bravo Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM, 87105 by 5:00 PM MST on November 10, 2021 (or postmarked November 10, 2021). Entries will become the property of RGCU and will not be returned.
Drawing: All entries will be compiled and duplicates will be removed on Friday, November 6th, 2021. RGCU will conduct a random prize drawing, in the following order, to select: two (2) handmade quilt winners. Drawing will be done on Tuesday, November 10th, 2021.
Eligibility Exceptions and General Terms: Employees and volunteer officials of RGCU and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and spouses of siblings), and individuals living in the same household of each of the above are NOT eligible. This contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner. The prize may be subject to IRS reporting. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. No substitutions or transfers of prize permitted except at sole discretion of Sponsor. By participating, entrants agree to these official rules and accept decisions by RGCU as final. If fewer than three entries are received, each contestant will receive one (1) $100 Visa Gift Card.
To Claim Prize: The prizewinner will be notified on or before November 14th, 2021. To claim prize, RGCU will require Identification verification and that the winner sign a Media Release form upon receipt of prize. The prizewinner may not transfer their prize to any other party.
Limitation of Liability: RGCU does not in any way endorse, warrant or assume liability for the prize offered in this contest. RGCU is not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any contest related materials; stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible entries; or applications/forms processed late, incorrectly, or lost due to computer, electronic malfunction, or human error. RGCU reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the contest as determined by RGCU in its sole discretion. RGCU reserves the right to discontinue this promotion without notice at any time for any reason. By entering, winner agrees to comply with all Official Rules as stated and agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless RGCU and each of its respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any claims made by winners, entrants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of and publicity related to this drawing as well as any other claims, damages or liability, injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind, at any time, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any drawing-related activity or participation in this drawing.
Winner Listing: Except where prohibited, the contest prizewinner’s name (first name and last initial only) and image may be used in RGCU’s newsletter, RGCU websites, and any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation.
Privacy: Information collected from participants is used only for the purpose of the prize drawing and to notify Winners, and will not be re-used, sold or shared in any manner by Sponsor or any third party unless entrant has opted-in to receive additional information and promotional material from Sponsor.
Rules: These rules, terms and conditions specified here comprise the Drawing’s Official Rules and, together with any official Drawing communications or publications by RGCU, shall govern and apply to all participation and activity arising out of and relating to the Drawing. These Rules cannot be modified or superseded orally or in writing except by an authorized action by RGCU in its reasonable discretion.
