The Albuquerque Area Fire Fighters IAFF 244-Survivors Fund was created in 2012 for the sole benefit of supporting our local fire fighters, their spouses and children who are stricken with critical life-threatening illnesses or injuries. The Survivor’s Fund is financed strictly by donations, sponsorships and event sponsorships. Since its inception in 2012 over $150,000 has been distributed directly to our members and their families; in an effort to provide financial assistance, ease monetary burdens while helping to shift the focus on care and recovery.

Our success and continued impact on the lives of our fire fighters, their spouses and children who find themselves in a time of need during diagnosis of life-threatening critical illness or injury, would not be possible without the generous contributions and support of businesses and other community partners and donors.
