The Montgomery Branch is Now Open!
Rio Grande Credit Union’s newest branch location in the NE Heights is now officially open. Located at 4700 Montgomery Blvd. NE in Albuquerque, this new full-service 5,000 square foot branch will be located on the bottom floor of the three-story building.
The branch features Interactive Teller Machines at each drive-thru lane as opposed to the traditional in-ground tubing system. These machines can exclusively be operated by Rio Grande Credit Union members to make loan payments, make transfers, get cash and more with a real credit union representative on the other end of the screen. With demand on the rise, the location also offers a variety of safe deposit boxes. The second story of this building is also home to our Mortgage and Commercial Services teams.
“We feel expanding Rio Grande Credit Union’s footprint with a branch located near this heavily trafficked, retail area fits nicely into our long-term strategy to improve the member experience specific to branch convenience and ensure the future growth of the credit union. Plus, a healthy number of people who live in the surrounding neighborhoods are already members,” said Rio Grande Credit Union’s President/CEO Mike Athens.
The lobby will be open Monday–Thursday from 9am–5pm, Friday from 9am–5:30pm, and Saturday from 9am–1pm. Drive-up services will be available Monday–Thursday from 8:30am–5:30pm, Friday from 8:30am–6pm, and Saturday from 9am–1pm.
